disappear nowadays in favor of industrial manufacturing. the
glass comes from Marinha Grande, the cradle of glass in Portugal.
The coloring of the glass is also done manually.

Mouth-blown glass
The master glassmaker collects a mass of molten glass at the end of a long hollow metal rod. Then he blows the glass through his cane. Speed, skill and precision are the key words of this glass technique dating back to the year 50 BC.
